Personalized Assessments Based on the Athlete's Individual Makeup

At PKP, we measure many factors when it comes to the positional makeup of the athlete. Through this assessment, we see where space can be provided to enhance movement. This leads to better performance on the field.

Training As a Rotational Athlete

Unlike linear movements, rotational movements involve complex coordination of multiple muscle groups, including the core, hips, shoulders, and even the feet. Many athletic skills, such as swinging a bat or throwing a ball require the ability to transfer energy efficiently through the kinetic chain. Poor rotational mechanics can lead to decreased performance and increased injury risk, particularly in the lower back, shoulders, and hips.

The Foundation of All Performance: Strength Based Training

Strength is the ability to produce force, and force production is critical for movement efficiency. An increase in strength directly enhances an individual's capability in various physical tasks, from sprinting to jumping to endurance-based activities.

FAQs

Common questions asked by athletes:

How long does this program last?

The initial program is 10 weeks in duration. After the initial 10 week program the package moves to month to month training. Many of our athletes stay on working with us year round because in-season raises its own challenges that our expert coaches know how to handle!

Is there an additional cost to use the facility?

No, any athlete that does our remote program has access to our facility in Ringgold, GA which is minutes from Chattanooga.

Do I need to come in for my initial assessment?

No. It is highly suggested to come in but we can assess and develop your program from anywhere in the country. If you have a phone that takes video you can be assessed.

How does payment work?

A contract will be signed to pay for the training over 2 installments billed at the beginning of training and half way through the program. If an athlete would like to start but cannot start during the designated time contact us and we can make it work!

What software is used for remote training?

We have a very clean process using the best and latest technology. They are both 3rd party apps that allow us to upload our programs with video instruction and provide feedback in real time.

Can I continue to work with Peak after the Complete College Development Program is over?

Of course! The summer is a great time to develop but in-season training brings it's own challenges that our expert staff know how to tackle.
